A little about this position:
A Mammoth Mountain Professional Ski Patroller will be able to provide First-Aid both in a clinical setting and on slope specific. Understands and implements Mountain Safety practices and able to perform avalanche mitigation techniques depending on experience and skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and understand directions. Applicants must be able to demonstrate situational awareness, and demonstrate advanced Alpine Skiing Skills, (sorry, no Telemark Skiing or Snowboarding until you have successfully finished one season on patrol at Mammoth). Every season, patrollers are trained and evaluated in these skills.

In order for applicants to receive a job offer, they must have a current Emergency Medical Responder, or Emergency Medical Technician, or Outdoor Emergency Care or Wilderness First Responder certification. In addition to one of these certifications, you should have a current certification for CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
All applicants must be at least twenty-one years of age. All hired applicants will go through the Ski Patroller Training course. Ski Patroller Employment will be contingent on passing this training.
