Job Summary

The Senior Technical Product Manager will play a key role in helping us continue our innovative approach of building and delivering advanced solutions to our markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path for Sequoia products as well as the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases. This includes managing the team and products through the development cycle as well as working with key internal stakeholders and executive management to achieve revenue and profit goals.


What You'll Do:

  • Define product strategy with clear, supportable objectives and long-term vision

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved and maintained

  • Craft KPIs, develop a product roadmap, and write user stories / requirements for your areas of ownership

  • Work with data analysts and the data itself to determine future requirements, enhancements, and metrics around data quality

  • Identify product enhancements & develop business case justification for new products

  • Provide metrics and measures to support closed-loop feedback process which ensures and validates superior product delivery to customers


Experience:

  • 5 + years of software/technology product management. Equivalent experience in strategic marketing, business management or other related technology functions acceptable

  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that users will love

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills that bridge the gap between business and engineering teams

  • Ability to use data to gain product insights, validate risk, and demonstrate those risks and insights in a meaningful way

  • Excellent knowledge of standard software development methodologies

  • Experience launching at least one data-centric product

Pay Range: $150,000 - $188,000 annually.

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting, and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate's education, training, experience, and geographic location.
