HDR is seeking a CADD Technician with an enthusiastic and energetic attitude to support the Civil Design Section. Primary duties include assisting engineering to prepare designs and plans in support of Water Resources related projects. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Receive and review redlines of plans, details, and figures for drafting and Civil 3D design

  • Coordinate workload with the CADD Group Manager and engineers

  • Implement and prepare plans following preestablished project specific CADD standards

  • Review drafting work for accuracy, consistency, use of drafting standards, and formatting

  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience drafting in a civil design related field

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation of construction documents

  • Proficiency utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for model development and volumetric calculations

  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Revit or Navisworks software

  • Experience preparing plans for Water Resources Related projects

The expected compensation range for this position is $63,674 - $86,147 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
