Providence Health Plan is calling a Director Regulatory Affairs who will:

  • Be responsible for managing and developing a team tasked with performing regulatory consulting and regulatory product lifecycle support for all Providence Health Plan and Providence Health Assurance business activity and strategic initiatives
  • Provide support for all lines of business, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, individual market, employer group plan offerings and services, and ancillary lines
  • Be responsible for managing interpretation and dissemination of state and federal regulatory requirements applicable to all health plan activity
  • Be responsible for guiding the organization to successful approval by regulators of all product offerings including supporting rate, benefit, and network filings
  • Ensure mandatory regulatory reporting occurs accurately and on time
  • Impact PHP's legal and regulatory obligations as well as financial obligations to health plan customers

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States / Regions:

  • Oregon
  • Washington
  • California

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or other related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education / experience
  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or oversight, auditing, risk management, law, government regulations or another related field
  • 5+ years managed care or health insurance experience
  • 5+ years management experience (Qualifying experience may include: Overseeing legal assistants, Paralegals or other similar indirect reporting)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field -OR- J.D.
