TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to set up, maintain and operate sheet metal fabrication machineries for operations such as cutting, drilling, shearing bending, forming.
• Load/unload laser cut sheet metal parts into hydraulic press brake to meet print specifications.
• Load/unload sheet metal into hydraulic shear to be cut to meet print specifications.
• Load/unload laser cut sheet metal parts into sheet metal roll forming machines to meet print specifications.
• Material handling of steel and long iron: count, store and report usage.
• Use of forklifts and cranes for material handling.
• Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• One year of machining experience required.
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude in the use of basic hand tools, and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprint features and machine shop routers.
• Ability to read and use tape measure.
• Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast paced work environment.
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
• Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.

Salary Range:

$ 16.00 - $ 20.00
