Internet Technologies QA & Ops team is seeking an experienced and passionate software quality engineer who is interested in helping us deliver quality releases to our customers on Apple's platforms. The Applied Networking team designs and engineers the ways that customers interact with Sharing features for all of our operating systems. We need someone inspired to invent new ways to test the boundaries and edge cases of our product and to build amazing software

Key Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes
  • Proven ability to lead a complete functional area of an application or product
  • Experienced in developing test plans, building tools and test frameworks and comfortable in both manual/automation testing
  • Experience in designing, writing, and automating test cases in Python, Swift, or similar languages focused on both UI and lower level testing.
  • Experience in testing and automating APIs, UIs and Native Applications
  • Working knowledge of Swift, C/C++ or Objective-C, XCTesst, Python, shell scripting, version control systems, object-oriented methodology, and other related tools/scripting languages
  • Proven ability to lead a complete functional area of an application or product
  • Ability to think creatively and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a dynamic software development environment
  • Ability to drive multi-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained
  • Skilled at debugging, troubleshooting, and critical thinking on bug prioritization


Description

We are looking for critical problem solvers to play a key role in qualifying our existing and new features cross our customer facing applications. We need someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with changing priorities, thinking creatively, and has a passion for ensuring high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management and other organizations within Apple. You will need to be highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
