Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Finance Manager role is a critical position within the Global Product Group. It has direct business partners within Engineering, Applications, Sales, Operations, Marketing and HR. Supporting the Group Controller, Division General Manager and Executive Leadership team this person will understand the product roadmap, maintain meaningful metrics, provide visibility and insight into the financials for the KLA Organization.

  • Own monthly forecasting, quarter end close, including variance analysis of actual to forecasts for the P&L, balance sheet review and reconciliations
  • Support annual strategic planning and long-term Engineering development roadmaps
  • Provide finance support for the Business Unit General Manager and Product Line Managers
  • Own financial projections and ROI models for engineering programs and present product life cycle (PLC) financials to the executive leadership team
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Applications, Sales, Operations, Marketing, HR
  • Lead and develop a highly dedicated finance team
  • Implement process improvement projects. Specifically in materials forecasting
  • Partner with senior organizational leaders to understand business requirements, investment needs, and to develop an excellent understanding of cost drivers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data & analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both finance and non-finance partners.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, business or analytics with 1+ years of people management
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in challenging status quo and assumptions with the ability to inspire change.
