Franklin Templeton Companies LLC seeks a Senior Portfolio Compliance Analyst in San Mateo, CA.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Portfolio Compliance Analyst?

Establish, develop, and enforce effective investment compliance practices and processes.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field or equivalent.

Prior experience must include the below skills/tools:

Five (5) years of experience:

  • Performing pre-trade compliance monitoring; performing daily monitoring of alerts and warnings for potential breaches of Investment Guidelines at a post trade level using Charles River Investment Management Services;

  • Reviewing compliance for accounts/funds in APAC, EMEA and US markets; performing post-trade monitoring with Charles River to ensure internal investment management stakeholders are not breaching any investment guideline mandates or regulatory restrictions;

  • Investigating potential breaches on a real time basis; and

  • Reviewing and assessing existing manual and automated processes to maximize potential while mitigating risk and maintaining the same level of integrity using Charles River.

The employer will accept three (3) years of academic study toward a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent plus two years of related work experience to satisfy the Bachelor's degree requirement.

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $110,653 - $142,800 USD / year.
