Job Summary:

This position is highly collaborative working across multiple departments and the technology team. The ideal candidate will be the subject matter expert of consumer goods business processes, how an ERP system supports those processes, and project management capabilities. This position will focus on initiatives that reach across Joybird's integrated systems landscape, focusing on manufacturing, inventory management and order-to-cash processes in support of Joybird's eCommerce and Retail sales channels. The position actively engages and works with cross-functional teams for system enhancements related continuous improvement projects and production support.

This position is hybrid and the candidate should be located in and around Los Angeles, CA.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to help prioritize initiatives across departments by maintaining the technology roadmap.
  • Lead and conduct design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support of strategic projects utilizing the defined software development life cycle.
  • Lead and participate in the deployment of technology solutions by defining requirements, system configurations, data cleansing/conversion, and end user training.
  • Collaboration with business owners and stakeholders to lead requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
  • Apply analytical skills to triage issues raised to determine optimal solution.
  • Assist with the development of functional designs to include logical data model, system interfaces, and security requirements, and design reviews.
  • Overseeing the implementation and ongoing maintenance for supporting online content releases, including User Acceptance Testing and post-launch phase.
  • Manage integration with 3rd parties and vendors, to ensure end-to-end process delivery and business results.
  • Collaborate with technology to understand development capacity needed for solution changes.
  • Responsible for ensuring project documentation, decisions, and specifications are documented and maintained
SCOPE & IMPACT:
  • Serve as a technology representative in strategic teams defining and executing key initiatives. Act as a liaison between business and technology team, supporting initiatives impacting business effectiveness and productivity across the organization, including factories, distribution centers, support functions, retail stores, and other business entities.
  • Responsible for supporting $1M in IT development scope per year.
  • Responsible for supporting the business continuity of the Joybird ecommerce and manufacturing platform, which processes and supports $150M in sales for Joybird.com

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business with 6-8 years of relevant experience in technology and ERP systems in Consumer Goods industry, or equivalent
  • Strong data analytical abilities with hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Understands System Development Life Cycles and various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) and relational databases
  • Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvement
  • Hybrid work environment at Joybird HQ (In office 3 days per week).

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to translate user requirements into functional specifications and end-to-end systems design as it pertains to manufacturing, order-to-cash, eCommerce, Drop Ship data flows
  • Strong written and verbal communication/facilitation skills
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Travel less than 10%

COMPENSATION: $105,000 to $135,000 annual salary
