Job Description

The Global Product organization delivers the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products into markets. The Product Practices team is responsible for uplifting the product management discipline and enabling more effective product development across Visa. As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking a talented transformation leader to help drive organizational change across our product portfolios. As a product and agile transformation leader, you will help lead the organization towards a more customer-centric model for delivering products and focus on developing standards and processes to improve the company's ability to operate. In this role, it will be essential to partner with stakeholders from across the company (e.g., product, technology, finance, sales, operations, etc.) to define transformation objectives, success metrics, and develop a strategy to achieve those goals. You will leverage your expertise in product management, agile ways of working, change management, strategy, and execution to facilitate hard conversations and lead your partners through change. These activities are aligned with the greater objective of becoming a more effective and higher performing product organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders across product, technology, and enterprise functions, and develop advocates across Visa to advance product transformation objectives

  • Lead discussions in strategic planning, facilitate decision making, and help execute transformation plans

  • Evangelize the vision, mission, and objectives and gain support for transformation objectives

  • Conduct strategic organizational assessments and develop recommendations for improvement

  • Deliver on those recommendations to implement winning solutions across business lines

  • Consult on Product Management best practices and bring a point of view on "what does a good product organization look like"

  • Partner with product operations teams to support specific transformation initiatives across the organization

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Previous experience leading agile, product, digital, and/or business transformation
  • Proven experience driving organizational change at a large company
  • 5+ years of product management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Previous experience in a management consulting role
  • Must work well in highly collaborative, matrixed and team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations
  • Strategic and analytical ability to synthesize and organize data/information into actionable recommendations with clear customer and shareholder impact
  • Natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities
  • Collaborative - You can drive decisions and build coalitions across different teams independently
Additional Information

Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,900.00 to 191,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
