Within the Capital Group, Private Client Services is the organization that services the complex needs of the wealthiest investors. Started almost five decades ago as a family office managing the assets of Capital Group's founders, senior executives and loved ones, today PCS manages over $30B for over 1,500 ultra-high net worth (UHNW) families, endowments and foundations. PCS is the only division within CG that works directly with our clients to meet their unique goals and objectives with respect to asset allocation, financial planning, wealth transfer or trust services.

As a Private Wealth Advisor on our Private Client Services team, you will work directly with clients to cultivate and foster relationships within Capital Group. You will have the opportunity to build your own practice and focus on what really matters. You will focus on exceptional investment results, holistic wealth planning and exceptional client experience s. You'll meet with clients, prospects, and referral sources to develop a book of business. You will work alongside a diverse team of advisors to serve a wide array of individuals, families, foundations, and endowments.

We will provide you with world-class marketing and investment solutions, administrative support, compliance oversight, wealth planning expertise , and investment management. Our support structure is ideally suited to navigate ongoing changes in the financial services industry and to address competitive forces. We recently expanded our investment platform, allowing experienced advisors to easily transition existing client assets not currently invested in Capital Group services.

Our robust platform gives clients access to an array of services including separate accounts, mutual funds, private equity, alternative strategies, and hedge funds. In addition to core investment strategies managed by various Capital Group units leveraging the distinctive Capital System, advisors can selectively use outside managers relying on research and support from our in-house manager research team. You will have access to our Wealth Advisory and Client Solutions Groups experienced professionals with expertise in such areas as accounting, taxation, estate planning, business transition, stock options, financial and legacy planning, asset allocation , and philanthropy.

  • You have an undergraduate degree along with a CFP, CFA , or MBA.
  • You have at 15+ years of wealth management experience (ideally as an independent Registered Investment Advisor). You have an established and portable book of business or a referral network that will allow you to recreate a book of business with us.
  • You are actively involved in your community, and engage d with charitable organizations and you cultivate a strong network of wealthy clients who value the expertise you bring to the table .
  • You're well versed in various investment and financial planning topics and committed to excellent client service.
  • You are a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to sophisticated high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients . Your expertise will help clients reach their financial and life goals.


  • You have a love for sales and have refined your presentation skills to appeal to a variety of audiences. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful, and engaging.
  • You are a seasoned listener, using critical intel to help craft your strategy. You are present in the moment and pay careful attention to subtle verbal and nonverbal cues.


Capital Group is required by state specific laws to include the salary for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $100,000 + applicable sales commissions and bonuses. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
