Job Description

RBC Capital Markets seeks an Investment Banking Associate in San Francisco, CA to identify and escalate operational risk and control deficiencies within the business. Work with Analysts to develop financial models, pitch book materials, and conduct research and analyze data to help advise current and prospect corporate clients on actual or prospective mergers and acquisitions. Participate and/or conduct due diligence sessions with companies. Maintain internal logs of precedent transactions and follow M&A deals in the space, calculate premiums paid, and calculate valuations. Remote work permitted 1 day per week. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, and 3 years of experience in investment banking with capital markets and spreadsheet modeling, analysis at various prices, discounted cash flow analysis, ability to pay analysis, and accretion and dilution. 3 years of experience managing all aspects of transaction processes, including preparation of pitches, financial analyses, valuations, and marketing materials and conducting due diligence. Must possess Series 63 and 79 license.

The wage range for this job is $200,000 - $250,000.This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
