Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Cypress, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • To provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineer to ensure the organization's objectives and goals are delivered.
  • The Manufacturing Services Technician Mechatronics is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment located in production or assembly & test facilities.
  • Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment across a plant, site, or business, to ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and capable for use when needed.
  • Utilize precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach toward maintenance
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data in support of Key Performance Indicators for the Manufacturing Services Department as needed.
  • Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogs to enable maintenance and diagnostics
  • Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Research and implement improvements.
  • Suggest improvements to work instructions to optimize the electrical installation/maintenance strategy
  • Coordinate preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production Staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators.
  • Coordinate their activities with Production Staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators.
  • Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment performance to standard.
  • Work alongside/support equipment OEM engineers as needed
  • Consistently perform asset maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high-performance standard.
  • Support the effective induction of new team members and support cross-training of other team members.
  • This job is being able to see the problem troubleshoot the problem take the problem to resolution.
  • PLC troubleshooting and able to move from electrical issues to mechanical work on pumps, furnace
  • Process Work Orders and pull reports from the Computerised Maintenance Management System
  • Safely operate site-specific equipment as needed with appropriate training

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $45.18 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week

Length: CONTRACT (24 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Science
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of manufacturing assets.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and ability to make sound recommendations based on judgment, training, and previous experience.
  • Certified ASC auto-mechanic, Certified General Electricians.
