  • Administrate and enforce deduction management and trade payment policies
  • Develop relationships with internal and external customers to ensure a constant focus on the achievement of trade fund and deduction targets
  • Work with brokers and customers to ensure backup is received timely
  • Upload and Pull backup and code correctly deductions to their respective accounts
  • Work with cross-functional teams to research/validate/dispute/resolve non-trade deductions
  • Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing processes to prevent invalid deductions
  • Process journal entries and assist with trade spend accruals
  • Make decisions that will directly impact the organization's cash flow & profitability
  • Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis to ensure data and system integrity
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Supply deduction management support to Sales team
  • Assist with other areas of Operational Accounting, as needed

We are looking for a Trade Funds Accountant who is a self-starter with ability to work independently and oversee customer deductions, trade payments process of trade spends accruals and has a knack for addressing root causes.

This position also supports Sales and works closely with internal and external customers to ensure the prompt resolution of customer deductions.


  • Strong Excel, Word, & PowerPoint Skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, drive results, and implement change
  • Knowledge of customer trade fund structures preferred
  • Ability to work overtime at peak periods
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities
  • Highly organized; detail oriented
  • Superior analytical and computer skills
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system
  • Trade fund management system and/or Cognos experience beneficial

Education and Work Experience:

  • College degree preferred, Accounting/Finance OR 2 years of experience in similar fields
  • Proven successful experience with high volume deduction management preferred

Other Job Requirements

  • Must have a flexible schedule and willing to put in extra time as needed
  • Occasional to constant repetitive fine manipulation (keyboarding, ten key, writing)
  • Rare to occasional ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to travel to various locations across the country or local travel to meetings
  • More detailed physical demands/working conditions are available through the Human Resources Department

Salary: $66,847 to
