Job Description and Requirements

This marketing professional is responsible for developing marketing and business plans and activities as well as driving pre-sales technical programs for Synopsys' DDR PHY product line to establish, enhance, and distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.

Defines and coordinates the development of effective sales collateral, marketing and technical requirement documents, competitive analysis, pricing and packaging strategies, product roll out and positioning, and technical sales training. Drives creation of all material on the internal product database pertinent to the DDR PHY product line, including white papers, datasheets, technical presentations, cheat-sheets and other related collateral. Coordinates with sales and R&D to provide quotes for customizations required by customers. Identifies new market opportunities and drives plans to exploit new markets. Develops and manages relationships with key customers and strategic vendor partners.

Fields and responds to technical pre-sales questions from Synopsys' worldwide sales team and reviews sales contracts specifying technical customizations to Synopsys' DDR PHY IP products. Participates in pre-sales meetings as required to present technical material regarding the products. Authors and presents technical presentations at industry events (e.g., SNUG, DesignCon, JEDEC Forums, Webinars, etc.) and authors technical white papers. Interacts with customers, R&D, and application engineering teams and sets the strategic vision and product plans in the marketplace.

Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.

Requirements

  • BS with 9+ years of relevant experience, MS with 7+ years of relevant experience of relevant experience in a technical role in the high-tech industry.
  • Technical familiarity with JEDEC standard DDR, LPDDR or HBM SDRAM interfaces is a must.
  • Technical orientation and understanding of ASIC design process is preferred.
  • Strong background in system design, signal integrity and timing closure is big plus.
  • Must have knowledge and confidence to interact with a technical audience, a strong desire to learn, exceptional communication both written and verbal, and great presentation skills.
  • An innovative energetic leader and individual with a decisive style and attentiveness to current and future customer and market trends.
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, cross-functional management and demonstrated ability to work in larger teams.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Management to ensure alignment and relaying customer's technical needs back to R&D.
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $155,000 - $233,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
