Our interns receive real-world experience by working side-by-side with raSmith project managers, engineers and technicians on a variety of projects. The tasks are diverse, depending on our current projects.

We currently have an opening for a 2024 summer Intern at our Irvine, CA office. We are looking for students with an interest in gaining practical experience through on-the-job training and are interested in a career in civil engineering. The intern tasks are diverse, depending on our current projects.

Requirements

Intern - Site Design - Irvine, CA - Skills and Requirements:

• Must have completed the Sophomore Year of a 4-year Bachelor of Science Program in Civil Engineering at an accredited college or university
• Technical skills to include exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products
• Able to solve basic engineering problems; good decision-making skills
• Skilled at planning by accurately scoping out length and difficulty of tasks and projects
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and team player
• Salary range: $23-$25 per hour
