Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to:

  • Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
  • Coordinate with necessary team members
  • Develop and monitor project metrics
  • Participate in project coordination meetings
  • Conduct project site visits if applicable
  • Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
  • Develop cost estimates
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, cost control, and project reports
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction or engineering
  • Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules
  • Scheduling & schedule control experience.

The expected compensation range for this position is $80,234.00 - $130,250.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
