We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Complex Social Worker. Our diverse team is dedicated to serving the community with the highest quality of care. The primary focus is assessment and discharge planning, complex case/care coordination and provision of individual and group psychoeducational counseling.

This is a full time M-F 8 hour day shift at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Required:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Master's in Psychology, OR Master's in Counseling.
• 1-3 recent (within the last 3 years) of experience in a healthcare setting removing psychological barriers to improve client health
• Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW, LMFT or LPCC or Licensed by the Board of Psychology in the state of California as a Psychologist.
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
• Discharge experience

Preferred:

• Bilingual and proficient in electronic health record.
• 3-5 years experience in healthcare setting
• Discharge planning experience with knowledge of local resources to ensure safe discharges
• Completion of Supervision Training for ASW
