General Summary:

Responsible for driving financial and operational performance across all Petco's U.S. distribution centers. Oversees, guides and supports workers engaged industrial engineering activities and in distribution center operations through subordinate distribution center general managers and operations managers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops long-term, distribution center plans, objectives, financial goals and budget. Leads the research, evaluation, design, development and implementation of distribution center operations policies, procedures, guidelines, methods, techniques, performance standards and emergency plans. Analyzes data, confers with regional and other operations staff, and monitors and reports on distribution center operations to identify trends, resolve problems and risks, and improve efficiency and effectiveness of distribution center and store operations. Coordinates the research, design, construction, renovation and configuration of new and existing distribution centers. Provides supervision to assigned staff: includes activities such as hiring, counseling, guiding, training and delivery of disciplinary processes as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher. 10 years of progressively responsible experience leading operations, distribution or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
