Job Description
UCR recently launched a new financial system through Oracle Financials along with Concur Travel and Kuali Research Contracts & Grants, an overall process called Impact23. This position will serve as a key component in the Dean's Office strategy to evaluate operations and create standards in this new environment. The incumbent's areas of support include C&G/Budget/Procurement, projects related to ongoing commitments such as faculty IC/Start Up, TAs, GSRs, Primary Temp Teach, Course Material Fees, and Payroll, and various auditing of systems and processes. As an Impact 23 C&G/Procurement specialist, the position oversees process engineering, manages budget reconciliation & C&G processes, and provides guidance & consultation to CNAS departments. In addition, the position will play a critical role in helping us remedy our largest operational pain points, work toward streamlined solutions, and utilize substantive knowledge of best practices, controls, and reporting to bring creative, simple solutions to the forefront. The position will also play a critical role during fiscal close as the college navigates a new financial system. The weight of responsibilities included in this position will evolve as our operations within the Impact23 framework mature and the needs of departments change. The responsibility of a process expert, engineer, and guide is a durable component of this role.

The full salary range for the Financial Projects Manager is $78,700.00 - $145,100.00 annually, However, the expected pay scale for this position is $78,700.00 - $128,500.00. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
