Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth, and we are expanding our Alliances team to help us scale. As a Sr. Manager - ML Ecosystem you will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing strategic partnerships with external organizations in the ML/AI space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and business development, with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Reporting to the Head of Technology Alliances you will have a unique opportunity to work for a disruptive company and lead the strategy of our AI/ML partner ecosystem.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the AI/ML ecosystem, including technology companies, research institutions, startups, and industry organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, serving as the primary point of contact for collaboration initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between internal teams and external partners to develop joint projects, initiatives, and solutions.
  • Continuously assess market trends and identify new partnership opportunities to advance the company's AI/ML objectives and business goals.
  • Develop and implement metrics to track the success and impact of partnership initiatives, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing AI/ML Partner Team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and engineering teams, to align partnership activities with company strategies and priorities.
ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, partnership management, or a related role in the AI/ML industry.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of driving innovation and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $176,000 - $252,000.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
