Job Description:

To match our exponential growth, Zscaler's Finance team has embarked on a journey to build a scalable Finance function. To support this effort, we are looking for a leader who will be responsible to develop and maintain consistent end-to-end Finance processes and controls. This Finance professional will work with a variety of global teams (including Record to Report, Transformation, IT etc.) to identify opportunities to optimize and automate Record to Report processes and help institutionalize Finance business process knowledge. Key areas of focus include Record to Report, Source to Pay & Payroll Operations. They will also be expected to support other transformation initiatives as we progress through our transformation journey.

This position will be based hybrid in our San Jose, CA home office (in-office Tuesday and Thursday).

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, document, and build consistent end-to-end Record to Report processes
  • Establish common tools across all geographies, divisions, and subsidiaries
  • Identity process automation and improvement opportunities and support prioritization
  • Develop and deliver on transformation roadmap
  • Focus on continuous improvement and support in driving projects to automate and improve processes
  • Leverage technology to support acceleration of financial close
  • Map controls to processes and support review of key risks and associated controls
  • Build methodology to confirm compliance to each control periodically; support operations leaders to prepare material and walkthroughs for audit reviews
  • Build & maintain documentation to institutionalize knowledge
  • Work with teams to define and measure KPIs
  • Build process and systems training and refresh when necessary; conduct training as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in supporting Record to Report policies, processes, controls, and related technology. Ability to drive consistency of processes leveraging prior knowledge of industry best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Record to Report processes including but not limited to journal entry rationalization, account reconciliations, chart of accounts rationalization, fixed assets tracking, close process improvement, reporting, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance. Experience in managing risk and control matrices
  • Strong understanding of the latest tech stack for the process area with hands-on deployment experience; knowledge of RPA, AI, ML, etc. is preferred
  • Experience with systems such as NetSuite, Floqast, Coupa, Salesforce is preferred
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools (LucidCharts, Google workspace, etc.) and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an ability to work in a cross-functional, global, and fast-paced environment. Experience in working with cross-functional team members and collaborating with IT and engineering teams, as required
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to drive change within the organization
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor, when required with limited direction in a matrix organization
  • Ability to collaborate with a remote team (India) in different time zone

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$149,999$175,000 USD
