Job Title : Special Events Paramedic

Location : Palm Springs

Department: Operations

Reports to : Operations Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you looking to be part of a fun fast paced environment? Do you enjoy watching sporting events or concerts? We have many opportunities to work events such as: world famous concerts, racetrack, mass gathering events, city and community events, Boxing, Triathlon, and other sporting events throughout Palm Springs.

After the submission of your application our operation will contact you to schedule an interview and go over the required Paramedic certifications (please refer to the job description below for a list of required certifications). AMR appreciates your interest and requests professional attire throughout the entire hiring process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Current Paramedic Basic skills and abilities
  • Delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols and company policies
  • Completes all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy
  • Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor
  • Maintains a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniforms standards.
  • Other Duties as defined

Education/Certifications/Requirements:

  • CA Drivers' License
  • State of California Paramedic License (Riverside County Accreditation Preferred but we could provide)
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)
  • ACLS
  • PALS/PEPP
  • PHTLS/ITLS
  • Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
  • Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV)
  • ICS courses,
    • IS-100B (ICS 100)
    • IS-200B (ICS 200)
    • IS-700A (NIMS)
    • IS-800B (NIMS)

Salary Range: $25.31 - $54.34DOE (This rate applies to 12 hour shift)
