We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodology to lead our software development projects. The Software Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple teams, sprints, and parallel activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our leadership and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver software projects using Agile practices. The Software Project Manager will also be responsible for overseeing project budgets and resources, identifying, and mitigating risks, and ensuring that tasks are progressing as planned.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple software development teams using Agile methodology.
  • Plan, execute, and track project progress and performance across multiple teams and sprints.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple teams and parallel activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks across multiple teams and parallel activities.
  • Ensure that tasks are progressing as planned and that project deadlines are met.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively across multiple teams and parallel activities.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders on the progress of multiple teams and parallel activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to Agile project management.
  • Manage and effectively communicate software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (project management, computer science, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Software Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing multiple Agile software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and experience in leading Agile software development projects with multiple teams and parallel activities.
  • Experience with Agile tools and techniques, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Software as a service (SaaS) is a plus.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $109,000.00 - $135,000.00 for California. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
