Base Pay Range: $149,000.00 - $253,300.00 Annually

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Pro works on a variety of inspections and metrology products, so your background needs to be multi-disciplinary.

You will be expected to work on projects requiring reverse engineering of older technologies in order to re-design, and bring programs into line with latest technologies, i.e. moving discrete logic to FPGA or adopting newer technology to legacy tools.

The systems engineers would be a critical role in the test, integration, and NPI.

Work with and help develop and small core team of systems design engineers. Team responsibilities include:

  • Self driven, motivated and a "can do" attitude is a must

  • CIP design engineering activities to enhance product robustness. This includes supporting development activities that enhance reliability and sensitivity of the system, improve automation and system up-time, and expand the application domain of the product.

  • When necessary, support system related escalations from beta site teams.

  • Drive the system aspect of transfer of skills and documentation to the manufacturing and the field service teams.

Drive development of the next generation product that is leveraged from the existing technology.

  • Draft-out and align with the sr. management team on a strategy and roadmap.

  • Coordinate and lead the corresponding advanced hardware development teams.

  • Track, communicate and manage progress of this effort and lead it to success.

  • Mentor Jr. Engineers

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
