Position Summary
The Cancer Registry Data Associate (CRDA) is an entry level position. The CRDA performs casefinding, data collection and follow-back activities. The CRDA reviews pathology reports in both electronic and paper formats and performs follow back on potential reportable cases. The incumbent organizes and maintains electronic and paper case files and coordinates the reports sent for the above activities. The CRDA also manages all incoming mail and faxes for their respective regions. This is a high productivity position, and the incumbent must be able to maintain productivity goals. A majority of the tasks performed by this position are electronic; therefore, the CRDA is required to understand various computer programs, related processes and procedures and possess the ability to track files electronically.
This is a regular full-time position located in Sacramento, CA. Candidates who can work a hybrid model of remote and in office as needed are preferred, but consideration will be given to candidates who can only work remotely. The work hours for this position are the core business hours 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Pacific time zone.
Full pay range for this position: $27.57 to $39.31 per hour. The typical hiring range for this position is from $27.57 (minimum) to $33.44 (midpoint) per hour. The starting wage is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
