Job Description

Senior Pricing Analyst, Global Interchange Compliance will support interchange and pricing strategy in ensuring proper levels of interchange are paid and received by our global clients and Visa systems are working as intended. Projects will range from maintaining and following established processes and procedures to proactively monitor interchange assessment globally in effort to identify anomalies and potential errors to supporting various strategic projects through data and business analysis.

We are seeking a person with both strong business acumen and technical skills, who can navigate through complex projects with limited need for oversight, independently build complex monitoring models to track compliance, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and management.

Essential functions:

  • Support streams of projects related to global Visa Inc.'s interchange compliance, including collaboration with business lines across various regional and functional areas.
  • Identify anomalies and potential interchange processing issues that may result in financial impact to clients/Visa.
  • Full cycle incident management for identified errors and compliance findings.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation pertaining to error resolution process and compliance reviews.
  • Keeping current with industry and client trends and maintain a working knowledge of Visa interchange programs globally to ensure monitoring processes and procedures remain effective.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 0 years relevant work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
* Strong understanding of electronic payments
* SQL proficiency with hands-on experience working with large data sets and building BI tools, e.g. Salesforce Reporting, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
* Experience creating data processing automations, use of version control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.), software development cycle.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with practical experience in financial or statistical modelling and quantitative analysis of large datasets
* Self-starter willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve business problems.
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership skills and ability to establish effective partnerships with stakeholders across the organization.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500.00 to 154,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
