Job Description

Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking Regional Director of Architecture to join South Central team! The ideal candidate will be able to set the direction and provide thought leadership for the south central region, working both as part of a collaborative team and independently.

Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan's integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Partner with stakeholders to champion regional goals, communicate financial status, coordinate future pipeline, help enhance business development, and serve alongside critical leaders in the region
  • Set the vision for the south central regional design team
  • Lead the regional design team including all professional and business activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with development & construction teams and third-party customers
  • Collaborate with sector leaders to recruit, maintain, and manage a regional team of architects and designers

To be successful in this role, you must have a Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture. You must be a licensed Architect with relevant work experience and a proven track record of managing multiple projects. Strong local connections to the design community are required. Candidates with at least 15 years of experience are most likely to be successful, however those with unique career experience or display clear potential for the role will be considered.

You will really stand out if you have:

  • Expertise in the industrial sector (speculative industrial and/or build-to-suit)
  • Additional expertise in the healthcare, senior living, and/or multifamily sector
