The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) Global MSAT & Engineering (PTT) function is taking bold steps to modernize technical operations. This position is responsible for introducing and implementing innovative, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions (incl. technology) to deliver robust manufacturing processes and distribution of healthy products for future-ready PT across product lifecycle.

The PTT MSAT Scientific Expert provides technical leadership and implements solutions across PT manufacturing and distribution networks. Responsibilities are generally grouped into two main focus areas: technical product lifecycle and/or new technology implementation, although integration and capability to flow across the two focus areas are often required for robust technicalsolution implementations.

• You will participate and/or lead cross PT networked teams.

• You will contribute and drive technology process initiatives throughout the product life cycle.

• You will drive technology and process improvement initiatives.

• You will contribute to health authority requests and audits.

• Deliver on projects or initiatives relevant to technical product lifecycle, technical standardization, and/or new technology per focus areas.

• You will drive identification of innovative, sustainable, efficient manufacturing to enable delivery of the current and future product portfolio.
  

• You will hold a degree in life science and 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and biologics (large molecule) drug substance process development, operations/manufacturing, or related experience.

• You will have in-depth knowledge of biologics, drug substance or manufacturing.

• You are an innovative leader, mentor, collaborator and problem solver.

• You create and deliver clear communications by explaining complex information in a straightforward manner.

• You will be able to travel 20% of the time.

Preferred:

• Degree in engineering disciplines is strongly preferred

Relocation benefits are not available for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oceanside, CA is $100,500 and $186,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
