YOU

As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for driving the deployment of demand data and strategic initiatives to manage the flow of materials across the supply chain in ways that maximize on time deliver while minimizing inventory.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Lead, organize and direct all scheduling activities for the facility including fabrication and stamping. Direct production planners to work with production team to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet customer requirements. Oversee the generation of work orders and production schedules for the movement of inventory through the production process. BOM & Routing maintenance as well as an annual average hour review (25%)

Develop and manage multiple complex projects targeting process improvements throughout the manufacturing supply chain with the goal of meeting or exceeding business objectives. Collaborate with production, manufacturing, sales, finance, shipping, inventory control and purchasing departments in identifying and resolving production planning problems to execute the needs of the business around on time delivery and cash management. Using Lean principles, establish new processes as needed to ensure orders are fulfilled timely and efficiently. (25%)

While performing the supervisory responsibilities required the employee must represent the Company in the utmost professional manner and in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws; especially when addressing complaints, resolving problems, and all other supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees. In addition, coach, encourage, and develop employees according to their unique interests and strengths. Empower employees to take responsibility for their career and performance. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback. Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members and the organization. (20%)

Work with manufacturing supply chain team to analyze, plan, and manage supply chain improvement activities within manufacturing. Plan and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations. Manage and plan raw material purchasing. Review production plan to identify risks. Investigate manufacturing supply chain issues, analyze root causes, and derive solutions. (15%)

Pull reports from: Legacy System, SAP and Plan for Every Part (PFEP). Gather and provide detailed data in reports and graphs to management. Demonstrate root-cause analysis and report on production status and activities. Manage manufactured finished goods, components and WIP inventory levels and to satisfy customer requirements, reduce working capital and optimize inventory turns. (15%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • APICS certifications a plus.
  • 3 years' experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies that ensure supply stability and responsiveness to meet customer requirements for various global markets; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • 3-year experience with thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • 1-year management or supervisory experience.
  • 1-year lean experience.

  • Technical/Software: Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis on MS Excel. (Pivot tables, v-lookups, queries, etc.) ERP/MRP system knowledge with emphasis on SAP or SAP equivalent system.
  • Leadership: Ability to build consensus amongst one's peers in leadership. Ability to establish an effective, professional, and positive relationship with staff.
  • SST Inventory Policy Knowledge: Maintains a working knowledge and complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work well with others and manage stress effectively. Display initiative and adaptability. Present ideas in an effective manner and use negotiation skill and diplomacy as needed.

PAY

$86800 - $112800 / Year
