What you will do as a Tax Partner:

  • Exhibit an exceptional aptitude for establishing and nurturing business relationships that attract new clients, as well as expand services to existing clients.
  • Be an industry leader known for excellence in the financial institutions industry, including maintaining exceptional tax technical knowledge, providing thought leadership and staying current with tax changes and industry trends that impact banks.
  • Oversee all aspects of client engagements to ensure tax compliance and help clients navigate the tax implications of their business objections, provide alternative strategies to lessen their tax burden and capitalize on tax credit opportunities that protect and promote client's growth and profitability.
  • Build a high-performing team that cultivates Crowe's culture of collaboration, empowers employees to reach their full potential and results in increased employee engagement and productivity.
  • Partner with other firm leaders in Specialty Tax, Assurance, Consulting, and Advisory to provide exceptional service to the client and drive revenue growth for the firm.
  • Optimize financial performance of the banking practice by managing budgetary and time constraints, implementing process improvements and effective resource allocation.

Your experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
  • Certified Public Accountant or JD required
  • 12+ years of progressive tax experience, including experience in a professional services firm serving financial services clients in Banking, FinTech or Capital Markets
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in building, developing, and sustaining clients and teams
  • Strong organizations skills with the ability to strategically plan for growth, innovation, and exceptional client service
  • Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
