Job Description

Here at Westfall Technik we are seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual Human Resources Manager to join our team. As an HR Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of our organization by managing a wide range of HR processes and programs. You will be responsible for employee onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and other HR activities. In addition, you will provide HR support to employees and management, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, and/or a related field of study
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Knowledge of California wage and hour laws
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • At least five (5) years' experience managing a Human Resources department is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in utilization of technology and associated reporting processes and procedures
  • Must be a knowledgeable user of Internet and communication tools
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both oral and written forms


Responsibilities:

  • Manages all functional areas of HR for our Riverside, CA facility, including Training and Development, Staffing and Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Employee Benefits
  • Partners with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues by coaching and training.
  • Provide consultation to management on staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues.
  • Manages and tracks open workers compensation claims.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Oversees new employee onboarding, including orientation programs and necessary paperwork.
  • Assist with employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in all HR practices and processes.
  • Manages and tracks leave of absences.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS system data.
  • Support employee development programs and initiatives.
  • Must be able to work well with Co-workers/Supervisor/Managers
  • Must consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees and represent the company in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (Based on education and experience)
