Job Title: Inside Sales Coordinator - Freight Forwarding
Classification: Non-Exempt, Temp-to-Hire
Reports To: Manager
Work Location: South San Francisco, CA

Overview:
A global leading Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company is looking for a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team.
The Inside Sales Coordinator will support the sales operations by managing accounts, responding to customer inquiries, and following up on leads.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not are Limited to:
Account Management:
* Provide dedicated support to existing customers, addressing inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
* Prepare and deliver reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Assist in generating and issuing rate quotes for shipments, coordinating off-shore business activities as required.

Lead Follow-Up:
* Follow up on leads generated by overseas agents, including rate quotes and inquiries.
* Maintain regular communication with potential customers to nurture relationships and drive conversions.
* Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and effective follow-up on all leads and opportunities.

Customer Service:
* Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating a commitment to meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.

Documentation and Administration:
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications using our CRM system.
* Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
* Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and reporting.


Qualifications:
* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues at all levels.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
* Degrees in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.


The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
