Naval IT Project Manager, Senior

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an IT Project Manager who can leverage their expertise in IT project management and engineering to support the delivery of highly technical program goals at the scale of Enterprise IT architecture. As the resident expert, you will create well-designed project plans to assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You know that project managers touch every part of an organization and wear multiple hats, from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in organizational development and being a key contributor to team success.

What You'll Do:

As an IT PM, you will:

  • Work directly with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional team support, coordination, planning, collaboration, and execution tasks are aligned with program and project goals
  • Empower our clients through effective communication, ensuring the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards
  • Engage with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic schedules to manage and report progress
  • Leverage Agile methodologies to lead client engagement sessions in support of development planning and execution
  • Write and deliver executive leadership-level communications and briefings

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical and project management supporting medium to large-scale IT and Engineering projects or programs
  • 5+ years of experience with management or leadership supporting DoD programs in IT Service Management, Service Delivery, and engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service lifecycle or IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting IT governance development and implementation
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering for large-scale IT projects
  • Experience with developing program baselines and identifying program risks
  • Knowledge of IT technical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams and stakeholder entities
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical Field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with supporting Navy IT programs or operations
  • Experience with performance management improvement in support of IT governance
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Scrum Master, Agile Practitioner, or Agile Project Delivery Management (APM) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
