As part of HSBC's Innovation Banking Division, the Relationship Advisor partners with the Relationship Manager to cover venture backed companies and their investors and is accountable for servicing client accounts, cash management and liquidity needs.

Here's what you can expect:
As the Relationship Advisor, you will serve as the dedicated service contact for HSBC's Innovation Banking division. This individual is accountable for positioning deposit, liquidity and digital offerings that will benefit venture backed companies and investors.

For your assigned portfolio, you will partner with the Relationship Manager to onboard new accounts and funds; service day to day deposit needs; triage complex deposit, liquidity, and digital channel inquiries; provide ongoing risk monitoring, address operational risk activity, and ensure consistent application of Group Policy and regulatory, financial, and legal standards.

As a newly forming practice, the Relationship Advisor will additionally advocate for client needs with internal stakeholders, ensuring products and processes address the needs of founders and investors.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $100,000 and $175,000.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You'll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • 6 - 8 years' experience in Commercial Banking, Cash Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital and / or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Relationship Management, Relationship Support, Client Service, Investor Services and / or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills
