Job Description

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Sr. AR/Revenue Accountant-Temp will be the focal point on all accounts receivable related activities, including preparing for AR invoices, checking Interco-terms, and researching variances, to support our high growth organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process AR invoices in NetSuite environment.
  • Assist monthly accounts receivable close processes and enter service revenue related starting and ending date. Run NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management System).
  • Reconcile all AR related general ledge accounts.
  • Provide support on AR related auditing. Also follow all SOX compliance procedures.
  • Assist collection related questions.
  • Co-ordinating with customer support and sales teams.
  • Review and issue credit notes related with AR invoices.
  • File sales and use taxes returns on a timely basis.
  • Work with customers and other departments to reconcile and resolve disputed accounts.
  • Support special projects as needed and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • NetSuite experience is a must.
  • NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management System) expertise is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferable in Accounts Receivable.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for an hour at a time and be able to position their body without additional support to obtain access to internal components of the system.
