Willdan Engineering has two openings, one full time and one part time, for Fire Inspectors in the Ontario, CA area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The Fire Inspector will be responsible for inspections of residential, commercial, industrial and other buildings during and after construction.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in annual inspections with fire department in restaurants, factory, warehouse, and office environments.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• ICC Certification as Fire Inspector highly desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of state and local codes.
• Municipal experience highly desirable.
