Job Description
Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Change Lead . This is a 12 month + contract and hybrid remote position located in South San Francisco, CA.

Summary:
  • The client's Project is a broad, cross-functional project focused on creating and executing a plan to move to client's proprietary systems and processes by January 1, 2025.
  • The project aims to help employees successfully transition to newly designed systems, processes and practices that will move client closer to becoming an independent company.
  • The project includes multiple work streams across HR, Finance (specifically Real Estate and Workplace) and IT.

Responsibilities:
  • We're looking for a Communications and Change Manager to work directly with project leads in HR, Real Estate/Workplace and IT and partner closely with the Talent, Engagement and Employee Communications team to develop and execute effective communications and change programs for Project.
  • This will include working with workstream partners and stakeholders to understand the changes, sequence key milestones, address key training and enablement needs, draft help articles and user guides, and it will require close partnership with the Employee Communications team to create and distribute the materials employees need to successfully transition to new ways of working.
  • The Communications and Change Manager will also be responsible for tracking and measuring the effectiveness of all change management campaigns and activities.
  • Work closely with the workstream partners to understand their project goals and change roadmaps and gather relevant information to help employees through the change process.
  • Assess the impact of planned changes on individuals, teams, and the company, and mitigate potential risks associated with change initiatives.
  • Work with project Leads, subject-matter experts and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of change management activities including transition plans, training and workshops, communications, help articles and enablement resources to help employees complete important transitions.
  • Write, edit, create and test content and knowledge documentation (in various formats) for new processes, platforms and systems, and make sure it's accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
  • This includes:
    • Training materials.
    • User manuals.
    • Knowledge and help articles.
    • FAQs.
    • Track and measure the effectiveness of all change management campaigns and activities and make adjustments as needed.
    • Establish and operate network of change champions against HR, IT, Finance / Payroll, and Facilities change programs - including, but not limited to, champions in leadership and the general Veep workforce.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of communications and change management principles and best practices.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in communications and change management, project management or a similar role.
  • Experience with writing documentation for HR and/or IT systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly adaptable and resourceful with the ability to handle dynamic situations.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience using Google Apps/Google Workspace.
  • Experience with graphic design or multimedia content creation is a plus.


Pay rate range: $57.72 - $64.12 hourly
