Under close supervision, follows directions from Warehouse Manager(s) to perform the job responsibilities. This position provides a wide variety of administrative and customer services support to sales personnel and external business partners. A level 3 Admin must demonstrate a high level of performance and efficiencies throughout all the admin roles.

Salary and Benefit Statement:

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.

    Compensation: $22/hour - $25/hour
Responsibilities
  • Follows best practice when selecting orders for next day delivery selects orders for next day delivery invoices and master pick customer deliveries orders to ensure that the product loaded is properly invoiced, for customers and drivers.
  • Route / Dispatch truck routes daily as directed.
  • Use routing software to perform daily routing 40 plus routes.
  • Display the ability to route all areas we service within the timelines given.
  • Maintain Customer address in the routing software.
  • Understand and update drop point data in the routing software.
  • Maintain/Update routing software to improve route performance.
  • Work directly with routing help desk to resolve problems.
  • Update Routing software with actual delivery detail using SAP.
  • Profient, i.e. inputting customer returns in the system, stock transfers, and credits.
  • Coordinate and assist other staff members in the warehouse office to service sales staff and suppliers with will calls or any other requests answers emails.
  • Assist salesperson, customers and suppliers while at the warehouse.
  • Replenishment process, slotting of items for production efficiencies.
  • Use of Shiraz for loading assignments
  • Compile and maintain reports, records and documentation to reflect the warehouse activities.
  • Perform accuracy checking on outbound orders to ensure that the correct product is loaded for delivery
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure that product is organized and in correct quantities and locations.
  • Perform location checks throughout the warehouse to ensure that the correct product is in specific locations as listed in the SAP system.
  • Pull customer and salespersons orders using warehouse equipment
  • Properly check and receive inbound shipments from common carriers
  • Answer phones, email and route calls as needed to assist sales personnel, drivers and customers with delivery concerns and special requests.
  • May need to pull sample bottles of wine for sales personnel doing will-calls as needed
  • Coordinate drivers' routes according to customer requests, DOT compliance and geographical and company policies.
  • Notify drivers and warehouse management of schedule changes and assignments
  • Participate in software improvements/upgrades or rollouts
  • File paperwork and manifest/trip sheets as assigned.
  • Operates radio and other communications equipment.
  • Assigns large orders for pulling and scheduling for shipment.
  • Must display confidence/experience when preforming all duties
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment in a support / administrative capacity
  • Minimum 1 year routing experience 40+ routes daily
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, Drivers' manifests and other documents generated between drivers and our customers.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, including e-mails
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in SAP process to select, process for invoice for customer delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with sales staff and customers
  • Ability to understand problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel and SAP Experience is preferred

The position's physical demands include occasional bending, squatting, reaching, walking, standing, carrying, and lifting an average of 35 pounds or more.
