Overview

ANNUAL SALARY (DEPENDING ON SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): $56,797.00 - $96,358.00

SCOPE: The Provider Services Specialist is a dual role between the Credentialing and Provider Services Department. This position is responsible for providing support to all tasks defined in the Credentialing Specialist and the Provider Services Coordinator Job Descriptions.



Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for providing back up support to all tasks assigned in the Credentialing Specialist Job Description
  • Create & Manage Physician on-call calendars.
  • Distribute Vacation Dates for Providers and facilitate appropriate clinical coverage.
  • Manage Answering Service - input calls on a monthly/bi-monthly basis.
  • Responsible for Onboarding and Off-boarding Providers and updating all tasks defined on our Onboarding/Off-Boarding Trackers.
  • Complete Herrick/CCRMC timesheets on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain & Manage QGenda - Online Scheduling Software.
  • Assist in Coordinating Yearly CPR Training Classes Practice wide.
  • Send out monthly call schedules to office managers.
  • Maintain & Manage Site Rotational Grids.
  • Maintain & Manage EMR Clinical Templates + Slot Counts.
  • Maintain all Tracking Spreadsheets within the Provider Services department.
  • Attend daily team huddles to provide status updates on all initiatives.
  • Creation/Maintenance on Credentialing and Provider Services Department SOPS as needed.
  • Attend daily team huddles to provide status updates on all initiatives.
  • Provide Support to the Supervisor of Provider Support on Department Projects.


Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • 2 year related experience preferred or equivalent in healthcare/business related field preferred.
  • 2 year Credentialing experience preferred.
  • Epic EMR experience required.
  • Outlook experience required.
