The role of Development Analyst will develop profitable, Dine Brands businesses domestically as fast as possible, while staying on brand strategy. This role focuses on expanding the IHOP, Applebee's, and Fuzzy's businesses domestically, with both existing and new franchisees. This expansion occurs through the identification and engagement of new franchisees in new and existing markets, as well as maintaining processes supporting our existing franchisees.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Dine Brands growth plans by maintaining the processes, and tools required to effectively manage new and existing franchise partners through the execution of a variety of transactions.
  • Assist with due diligence and consent process for proposed franchisee transactions and assignments (acquisition/divestitures, MBOs, LBOs, ownership transfers, etc.) that are submitted for consent.
  • Interacting with franchisees, legal, architectural and finance departments on development activities and franchise administration.
  • Create and maintain playbook's / manuals / presentations for new development, and development related process and procedures and projects.
  • Monitor new restaurant openings and related reporting in company system for accuracy.
  • Assist with the management of the new store development approval process, proformas and documentation and the maintenance of projects on internal IT systems.
  • Monitor reporting for consistency and accuracy across brands and franchise groups.
  • Undertake general administrative duties in a professional manner.
  • Target Salary $80-$85k+

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years professional work experience. Bonus points if experience is in a corporate environment with an emphasis in franchising, recruiting, or restaurants.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication; Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, and Project Management Software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage tasks.
  • Hybrid role (9+ days in office per month)
