Overview

Utilize your leadership, economic understanding, and detailed financial skills in a growing business support unit in Esri's Professional Services Division, the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. Staff are strategically partnered throughout the organization, providing significant connections among leadership, our staff, and the capabilities that drive our business practice. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing exercises on Professional Services bid opportunities; coordinate pricing efforts
  • Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) for cost, price, billing, and reporting requirements; prepare and review detailed cost/price estimates
  • Provide guidance to proposal team in developing pricing strategies
  • Review and provide subcontractor pricing guidelines and templates
  • Prepare and deliver accurate summaries to clients and senior management
  • Support negotiation process
  • Assist with smooth transition from pricing to budgeting
  • Review historical bids and project performance
  • Support development of rate schedules
  • Support the development of Estimate at Completion (EAC) exercises
  • Develop historical metrics to validate pricing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Complete competitive rate analysis exercises
  • Support special pricing related assignments relevant to current business need
  • Act as subject matter expert in pricing topics as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience supporting similar responsibilities
  • Professional experience in a pricing or financial discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment and effectively interact with all departments and levels of staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access) including modeling experience with Excel
  • Ability to summarize complex pricing information and present to senior management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong time management, prioritization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience working on financial data for services work
  • Experience in pricing within services or products
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$64,480$79,040 USD
