Job Description
The position provides executive level support including administrative, financial and marketing/communications in support of the affiliated centers of the multidisciplinary Institute of Integrative Genome Biology (IIGB) which includes the Center for Plant Cell Biology (CEPCEB) and Center for Infectious Disease Vector Research (CIDVR). This unit provides research and interaction opportunities for faculty of approximately 20 academic departments, three colleges and a medical school, including core instrumentation facilities and research labs. The administrative officer supports all aspects of the unit functions, including financial operations, human resources, academic personnel operations and space/facilities. The administrative officer will independently research issues, develop reports, implement programs and present recommendations to management. The incumbent must be able to work under the pressure of constantly changing priorities, unanticipated urgent demands and multiple tasks. The incumbent oversees a team of three support staff and aids in development, implementation, promotion and reporting of initiatives to fulfill the vision, priorities and goals for the institute. A skills assessment is required for this recruitment.

The full salary range for the Administrative Officer position is $71,100 - $128,700. The expected pay scale for this position is $71,100 - $89,000. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
