- Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of sophisticated mechanical assemblies consisting of bearings, linear guides, air bearings, pneumatic components, etc.
- Assembly of sub micron level motion systems consisting of wafer positioning stages, chucks and air bearings.
- Prepare technical reports, summarizing findings, and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Run diagnostic scripts and present reports
- Perform ongoing daily work with minimal instruction, and with general instructions on newly introduced prototypes.
- Work with design engineers to complete assembly and test according to test plan.
- Create assembly, testing, and troubleshooting procedure
- Experience with high Vacuum system and the cleaning process
- Must have
- Hands on experience assembling mechanical parts such as machined parts, mechanical bearings, linear guides, and/or air bearings
- Hands on experience with various pneumatic components such as pneumatic fittings, air flow meters, venturis, etc
