The day-to-day
As a Corporate Fixed Asset Accountant at Viasat, you will be integral in supporting dynamic growth across the Company and ensuring appropriate accounting. You will be responsible for a variety of ad hoc projects and recurring daily tasks for the Fixed Asset team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do mindset and will drive efficiencies by improving current processes and procedures, and helping determining scalable solutions for new processes.
What you'll need
- 2-4 years accounting or relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, business or another similar degree.
- Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statements, and applying accounting theory
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with others within and outside the accounting team
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
- Self-motivated with ability to balance and prioritize competing demands
- Desire to challenge existing practices and drive process improvement
- U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status required

- ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)

Salary range
$63,100.00 - $109,700.00 / annually
