Job Description
A well know food manufactruing company is urgenting looking for a Food Quality Technician to join thier team. This company offers stability, growth and a chance to work with a collbrative team.

This role is fully onsite in Santa Ana. Local candidates ONLY please.

Job duties:
  • Worked and maintained quality/food safety for 24/5 frozen dough operations. Reporting to the QA Supervisor.
  • Currently working on 1st shift (5am-5pm- since 2022), previously worked 2nd shift (5pm-5am).
  • Completed daily floor verifications throughout shift (raw material lot codes, metal detector, label).
  • Completed test bakes (measurements, weights) and final product review (CCP/PC document verification) prior to release to assess product food safety/quality and ensure specifications are met.
  • Performs monthly environmental swabbing on equipment and floor to ensure appropriate sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Monitor plant operations to assure sanitary conditions in the manufacturing, storing, and distributing procedures follow regulatory and pre-requisite programs.
  • Conduct sampling inspection of incoming ingredients (Butter, liquid eggs), which included COA review and temperature verification.
  • Perform/document Pre-Operational Inspections on lines/ equipment which included ATP swabbing and/or allergen swabbing (Neogen as needed).
  • Responsible for the initiation, completion, and disposition report of the Hold process for non-conforming product and material. Including blocking materials in ERP system (GP).
  • Conduct Monthly Food Safety Audits to ensure Food Safety compliance in the Facility, identify areas of improvement and monitor that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Review Production Records for completion and compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Inspect and monitor bulk bin tailings to ensure sifter screen integrity has not been compromised.
  • Conduct Glass Brittle and Plastic Audits and monitor that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinates and ensures production provides retain samples and they are stored/documented appropriately.
  • Perform equipment calibration (scales, thermometers) as required.
$20-21/hr
