Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

The purpose of this job is to play a lead role in analyzing business results and providing insights into the performance of key segments. This role is fully remote for those within a 60-mile commute of Westlake Village, CA.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Develop and/or enhance financial models for reporting, reviewing results, and forecasting
  • Perform variance analysis against forecast, budget, or prior year
  • Participate in the division month-end close process
  • Track expenses and review results with leaders
  • Create financial reports and deliver summaries of findings to management
  • Extract data from various databases and perform sophisticated analysis that results in actionable business insight
  • Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering
  • Present financial information to the team and to non-financial business partners,
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and underlying drivers of performance
  • Additional duties as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience), preferably within a retail or ecommerce environment
  • Ability to be detail oriented while independently leading and/or executing multiple assignments simultaneously under tight timelines
  • SQL or Tableau experience is a major plus.
  • Experience working with large data sets, be customer service oriented, able to turn around work quickly
  • Basic Accounting knowledge around accruals, GL, capitalizations, amortizations, etc.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Skilled proficiency using financial planning tools such as Oracle Smart View
  • Skilled proficiency using financial management applications such as PeopleSoft
  • Skilled proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Pay Rate: $90,000 - $105,000/yr depending on background and experience.
