The Audio AI intern will partner with fellow interns and the broader Audio AI team at QSC. Working with cutting edge AI technology, you will be exposed to the many facets of building AI for audio - dataset creation, model training and tuning, testing and validation. Even though this is an entry-level intern position, you will actively participate in every step along the way! This is 2 of 2 Audio intern openings.

Throughout the course of the QSC 2024 Summer Internship Program (10 weeks beginning June 24 and ending August 30) interns will work on-site, occasionally virtually if the opportunity arises, and have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions and receive training customized by our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the technical side of QSC. The interns will understand first-hand what a career with QSC is like and will have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network.

The estimated range for this role is $23-$25 per hour.

Write and understand python code for audio processing and analysis
• Apply AI and ML models to various audio tasks and challenges
• Conduct experiments and evaluate results
• Document and present findings and insights
• Collaborate with other interns and the Audio AI team

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in python programming and familiar with common libraries and frameworks
• Some basic exposure to AI and ML models and concepts
• An interest in audio and audio processing or music is nice to have
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
