What You'll Get To Do:

Major responsibility is the sales of the electromechanical products including switch and connector. Collaborating with account sales, gather customer roadmaps and projects and market requirements that helps the factory develop new products at the right timing. Create strategies to maximize the sales created in North America and come up with mid-term business plan and short term action plans for achievement. Responsible for negotiation with factory managers to ensure factory support of the sales company objectives.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Understand electromechanical products and technical information on all assigned products.
  • Focus on maintaining product knowledge on all changes related to assigned product within factories and market.
  • Understand the advantages or disadvantages of our product within the market and for the specific customer application.
  • Receive factory training on product to be able to successfully support sales force and customer.

FACTORY LIAISON

  • Establish strong relationship with each factory to support their product.
  • Maintain clear and constant communication with the factory representative.
  • Understand all factory issues regarding the product such as production capacity and roadmaps to ensure strong internal and external support.
  • Responsible for factory negotiations for price, warranty, schedule, product allocation, and deliveries.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Responsible for business decisions related to product management when needed on pricing, purchasing, gross margin, inventory and product allocation.
  • Establish the terms and conditions with the factories related to custom and standard products.

SALES SUPPORT

  • Supports sales and business development team in developing and maintaining close account relationships and satisfying technical customer requirements.
  • Provides technical training for sales and representation.

PRODUCT STRATEGY OR MARKETING

  • Assist in the Development of the strategic product business plans to successfully meet company's sales and profit goals.
  • Work closely with Sales function and the factory to implement a product specific plan taking into consideration the market and factory objectives.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

  • A four-year college degree in a business management or technical discipline with a Masters degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
  • 8+ of product or industry specific ( electromechanical products) technical or sales experience is required.

MANAGEMENT

  • Manages customer and market information to introduce products to the right people at the right timing and lead it to the actual sales.

PROBLEM-SOLVING

  • Ability to work in complex organization with many points of contact.
  • Ability to travel as required by the position.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Strong written, negotiation, and inter-cultural communication capabilities and presentation skills
  • High-level negotiation with factory managers required.

The salary range of$135K-145K is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
