SET THE COURSE

The Planner, Direct to Consumer serves as a business manager for product categories, working collaboratively with Design, Merchandising, and Allocation to build compelling product assortments, financial plans, and actionable forecasts that maximize sales and profitability. The Planner, Direct to Consumer, is responsible for developing and maintaining sales, receipt, inventory, and margin plans at all levels of the product hierarchy. This position provides strategic, analytical, and reporting metrics through the entire product life cycle (pre-season, in-season, and post-season). The Planner, Direct to The consumer will perform pre-season, in-season and post-season analysis to uncover sales opportunities, lead open-to-buy meetings, and provide cross-functional business partners strategic and analytical support to ensure the achievement of sales, gross margin, inventory, and key performance indicators.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

  • Manage monthly, seasonal, and annual financial plans with direction from the Sr. Director Direct to Consumer Planning, GMM, and DM's.
  • Responsibility for leading pre-season hindsight analysis of sales, profitability, and SKU rationalization.
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify opportunities and minimize risks across all levels of the product hierarchy.
  • Develop an understanding and expertise of Retail Store and eCommerce sales curves, TB consumer online shopping behavior, impact of email campaigns, and Retail store marketing.
  • Prepare pre-season, original financial plans tied into the Company's top-line plans, to be used in developing merchandise strategies for the season and supporting line development and buying needs.
  • Plan all financial components at the Division, Department, Class, and Subclass level to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Merchants to determine that order quantities for seasonal buys align with the financial plans, including exit planning. Plan and recommend Core vs Core Fashion vs Fashion placements.
  • Develop seasonal/quarterly financial plans the Merchants will utilize for assorting the line. Provide receipt targets to the class level where necessary and recommend Core vs Core Fashion vs Fashion placements. Collaborate with Merchants to ensure that style and cc level quantities for fashion buys align with the financial plans, including exit planning.
  • Assist with sales and inventory data to inform Merchant driven midsight and hindsight, including metrics on retail and margin per program and cc, size selling, sell-through, and product attribute selling. As a part of hindsight, partner with Merchandising to establish threshold metrics for assortment breadth and depth at the category and store cluster level to support future season assortment planning.
  • Work with Merchandising to develop promotional strategies. Analyze promotional effectiveness and
  • make future recommendations.
  • Develop and publish weekly, actionable sales reporting to the Merchant team for review and collaboration, including Omni Sales reporting, Stock to Sales reporting, Core selling, and Location selling.
  • Provide clear, accurate direction on sales, margin, inventory, turn, promotional calendar, and fiscal calendar shifts.
  • Present in-season forecasts to management & cross-functional teams in monthly open-to-buy meetings. Identify areas of opportunity and concern to Merchants/DMM/GMM. Create action plans based on updated forecasts.
  • Work with Merchandising and Marketing to develop promotional strategies. Analyze promotional effectiveness and make future recommendations.
  • Partner with Omni and Site Merchants and DTC Inventory Analysts to maintain bulk inventory levels that support both online sales and store replenishment.
  • Manage and plan inventory positions and markdown strategies.
  • Develop monthly Outlet transfer plan with buy-off from Omni Buyers Merchants and Site Merchants.
  • Communicate current forecast monthly to the Outlet team.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
  • Generally, 6+ years of retail merchandise, financial planning or business analytics experience
  • Outstanding technical skills including MS Office. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new processes and procedures and systems.
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility
  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills with both peers and business partners.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively - reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency when relevant.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to communicate key information to key partners.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: $76,951.88 to $128,253.13 salaried
